People Started To Believe: MLK’s Legacy and American Politics
James Earl Ray didn’t kill The Dream of Martin Luther King. I believe this because when King died, people started to believe even more in what King did. Back then even many whites believed in Martin’s dream. Even if Martin really did predict his own assassination, I believe he kept going because it was important to get his point across that blacks and whites should be equal. This year’s election deals with Martin’s dream. This year a black man and white lady are running for president. Their names are Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. This year you have to think about what will happen to Barack. Will history repeat itself? Then we have Hillary. Will many of the whites vote for her?
