Online Academy's Eden Washington Wins Amazing Race

JUNE 2021: Congratulations to sixth grader, Eden Washington who handily won the Winter 2021 Amazing Race $100 prize...keeping well ahead of worthy opponents from Blow Pierce, Online Academy, Ideal, and Woodridge for the entire race. FPCS Online’s Ahmed Abdul-Malik came in a close second; Victoria Ekanem from Blow Pierce took third place honors; and FPCS Online 4th grader, Gabriel McCrea received honorable mention. During the race, Eden and her fellow contestants raced around the world—virtually.  They used map coordinates to find 11 different destinations, and then wrote stories about their sometimes dangerous, yet entirely safe virtual adventures.
