Are Women Equal To Men?

DEC. 11, 2017: Today in the U.S., women aren’t treated the same as men. Men are given more money in jobs (wages) and given more resources for sports.
It is a known fact women make less than men. “ Today, on average, women earn 79 cents for every dollar a man earns, and women's median annual earnings are $10,800 less than men's,” according to a report released by the Senate Joint Economic Committee last April.
Another great supporting fact is that men are given a lot more opportunities and resources for sports. “If you look at the amount of resources that are given to boys’ sports and girls’ sports, there are [still] huge disparities... and that can be evident by just looking at the amount of resources that many institutions pour into their football teams as compared to sports that are more typically played by girls and women,” Galen Sherwin, an attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union’s Women’s Rights Project, tells Teen Vogue.
As you see women are not treated equally to men. So do you still think women are equal to men? What needs to happen in order to stop this problem?
