FEB. 10, 2020: Would you purchase a pair of $600 shoes? If so, you would want them to be clean, right? When I think about a pair of brand new shoes, I imagine putting them on, lacing them up, strutting up to the mirror, and constantly keeping my eyes on the lookout for any bystanders who might step on my clean, new shoes.

People today are doing just the opposite. Everyone is desperately trying to get a pair of Golden Goose sneakers to wear. What’s different about these shoes is that a brand new $600 pair looks dirty and worn. Yes, that’s correct, people are paying $600 for a brand new pair of dirty looking sneakers.

Golden Goose shoes were created by Francesca Rinaldo. The shoes are designed to look dirty, worn and used. Some reviewers say they aren’t super comfortable, so I wonder why people would buy them?

The shoes first became popular due to celebrities like Selena Gomez wearing them, making them fashionable. Everyone is also raving about the raised heel bed, which makes the shoe appear to be a bit smaller than it actually is in size and looks.

Teenagers between the ages of 14 to 19 say that the overall style is everything a street-style sneaker should be — sporty and a little chic. According to Nordstorm’s customer reviews, the Golden Goose has so many details that stand out amongst other high end shoes. There are many unique colors of the soles, laces and of course, a proper amount of scuffing to make this shoe comfortable and a roomy fit. Nordstroms also claims that the Golden Goose is made of all leather, which means the shoe smells good and will last a long time.

If you really want to look cool and spend a lot of money doing so, then maybe these are the sneakers for you. One thing I will say, Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms are selling out fast, so save up your money and maybe you too will become a Golden Goose lover.
