Halfway to the Finish Line

FEB. 6, 2020: Education is important because education gives people the knowledge and skills they need to be ethical, literate and well-rounded citizens who contribute actively to their communities.

January 17, 2020, was the last day of the second quarter. Students at Blow Pierce will receive report cards on February 4 and 6, 2020. With quarter two ending, students are halfway to the finish line or end of the school year.

Hopefully quarters 1 and 2 were good for everybody, but if not, it’s crunch time! Stay focused, ask questions, and try your best. Teachers are here to help you and if you don’t like your teacher, find a teacher you like and get support in whatever areas you need.

I hope everybody finishes the year strong and makes honor roll the third and fourth quarters. Remember, education is the key to happiness and something nobody can ever take from you.
