Are These Scary Sea Creatures Real?

NOV. 14, 2017: I read this book called Amos and Boris by William Steig. It was about two friends...one lived on land and one didn’t. Amos is a mouse, and Boris is the whale. Amos built a boat and went on a trip to have the adventure to see how the ocean looked. Amos fell off the boat. Then he had to stay in the water for a whole night until Boris came in the morning. Boris helped him. He gave Amos a ride home. And that’s how they became friends. Boris had an attitude and said to himself, “How can that little mouse ever help me?”

So, Boris got stuck in a hurricane and was washed onto the beach where Amos lived. They recognized each other. Amos tried to push Boris back into the water, but he couldn’t, so he brought some elephants to help Boris get back in the water. This is how I came to love creatures in the water.

The book made me wonder if the mysterious creatures in the ocean are real. Have you wondered that too? I looked up up some research and I found a video on YouTube called “Top 10 Mysterious Deep Sea Creatures Caught on Tape.” I saw the video and I’m going to tell you what I think is real and not real. I think the giant squid in the video is real. I read that giant squids can grow to 43 feet. I’m not sure if the Nabau is real. I think the prehistoric shark is real because fishermen pulled it out of the water in Victoria Lake, Canada. And CNN News had a video that showed a prehistoric shark.
