Armstrong All Stars Fly to Mars
On February 10th, 2024, our FNN Armstrong All Stars got to have the ultimate space experience! We tried freeze dried ice cream, the kind astronauts eat and went on a trip to iFly for an unbelievable opportunity. The students had mixed emotions about the ice cream. Some students even described the ice cream as a hard marshmallow. Moving on to the STAR of our trip: iFly! Ifly is indoor skydiving, where you experience the sensation of flying in the state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnels that propel the body up at high speeds. Students absolutely loved the feeling of flying. The students said they felt like astronauts. Armstrong’s FNN club greatly appreciated this experience and some might actually take it further than iFly!
