Armstrong All-Stars Learn At Air and Space!

Have you ever wondered what it felt like to be in space? Well our Armstrong All-stars got to experience that by trying Russian space food and going to the Air and Space Museum. The space food ranged from all kinds of food such as a burger, pizza, and two fruit desserts. The All-stars all agree that the food had a weird consistency and wasn’t good tasting. At the Air and Space Museum they were given the opportunity to see Mars rovers up close and personal. They also saw space suits, planets, the cockpit of a plane and engines of an aircraft. In addition students learned about the different jobs that people have up in space. Students touched a moon exhibit and described it as having a rocky feeling. They couldn’t contain all their excitement because they were so amazed by these new sightings.
