Awesome Con: The Met Gala For Everything Pop Cultured

Saturday, June 4th, 2022. FNN took a trip to Awesome Con, a convention that features cosplay, comics, and anime. Awesome Con is a great festival that celebrates the love of anime, comics, and cartoons in human form through cosplay. But that's not all, Awesome Con also has panels that talk about gaming, LGBTQ representation in comics, Dungeons and Dragons, and much more. 

The gaming rooms are key to having fun and feature games from Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox, and even the classics from these brands including NES, Playstation 3, and PlayStation 2. Or instead of console gaming, you could level up and play Saber Punk on Meta Quest 2. 

For Instance, the second game room was the spot for tabletop gaming. This room had all of the best games from classic UNO to Cards Against Humanity. I had a great time at Awesome Con. I got to witness many amazing costumes and interview people about their costumes. Awesome Con was great and hopefully I get to go again next year.
