April 23, 2015: On March 7, 2015, FNN reporters from Tech Prep and Woodridge went to Selma, Alabama to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge—an event that changed American history. It was amazing to experience history with thousands of other people from all over the world and to meet people who were actually there for the original march. It gave us all a new appreciation of the everyday people from Selma who risked their lives for our civil rights. To find out what we did, read our first person accounts here.
