FCA Class of 2010               Howard University Class of 2015   BA in Film Production           Minored in English to Spanish Translation                           Current Occupation: Comedian/Actor

Listen, Learn, Laugh: Here is a young man who walked home from school with a book in his hand and kept to himself. So I was shocked to hear Anthony, now Tony, was a comedian. He has been doing stand-up since he was at Collegiate.  A year ago, Tony started his YouTube channel The Tony Cobain Show. It has caught the attention of the Wayans Brothers, and other mainstream comedians. Tony has also a few independent movies under his belt.  He’s in Blue Loves Company, My Mother’s Tongue and Saving Mr. Yamamoto. Tony also cares about children. On April 20th, he hosted a charity event outside on the Howard University Yard.  All profits went towards the Pediatric Cancer foundation. It won’t be long until Tony’s name will be as famous as other Howard University Alums like Diddy, Taraji P. Henson, Chadwick Boseman, and Phylicia Rashad.  Tony’s comedy album is coming out in September. In the meantime you can check to his stand-up on tonycobainshow.com (content may not be suitiable for children under the age of 18).
