Recently, Woodridge's FNN team headed to Atlanta, Georgia to cover the midterm elections and interview candidates. Weeks have now passed since said election took place, so let's talk about the results.

Republican Brian Kemp officially won the race for Governor, defeating Stacey Abrams. As the new Governor, Kemp has stated he will make Georgia the capital for small businesses in America. Kemp plans to make it easier to own Georgian small businesses, reduce the impact of taxes, maximize taxpayer conservative budgeting and address the teacher shortage.

Georgia’s house election results ended with 9 Republican seats and 5 Democratic seats, making Georgia a mostly Republican state.

Finally, Raphael Warnock and Hershel Walker advanced to the next round of the elections, where they had a runoff to declare their final pitches. In said runoff, Raphael Warnock officially pulled through and won the election, defeating Walker.

Warnock plans to end anti-semitisim, which is hostility toward or discrimination against Jews as a religious or racial group. He also aims to expand healthcare, and ensure that people in Georgia make a living wage.
