MAY 10, 2017: The PARCC is a very serious state test. PARCC is a type of test to see whether or not you go to the next grade. In addition when you finish PARCC there are certain scores that you will get. The types of scores you would get are a 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.

On PARCC if you score a 0, 1 or 2 there is a guarantee that you will be put back in the same grade or go to summer school. However, depending on your grades throughout the school year you may not be retained. You may just have to be in summer school. PARCC tests students grades 3-11 to see if they’re on grade level. The test is in Mathematics and English Language Arts. The PARCC test is supposed to reflect on new “Common Core” standards. The word PARCC means Partnership of Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers.

In conclusion, this article was written because I think that all students should do their best. Also, I think we should do our best so that we can enjoy our summer break and not to be in summer school.
