Mother and Son All White Affair

Friendship Woodridge has been on a roll with mind blowing events. The most recent event that occurred happened on April 8th-The First Annual Mother and Son All-White Affair. The event was held to raise money so that Woodridge's Lady Eagles Dance Team could travel to a dance competition in Virginia Beach.

The event was to die for. Photos were taken, music was blasting, and everyone was on the dance floor surrounded by beautiful balloon art. Ms.Wilford (head coach of the Lady Eagles Dance Team) was even out there in her white getting down on the dance floor. Members of the dance team hosted the dance, which was a great idea. There were girls serving food, girls greeting guests at the entrance, and girls escorting the attendees to their seats. The attendees of the dance were previous students who graduated and even those who have left Woodridge. Many came back to dance and bond with their mothers.

This event was just as huge as the Daddy and Daughter Dance Woodridge also hosted this year. Stay tuned! There are more fundraisers and parties to come, especially since the end of the year is coming up. Each event seems to get better and better. The dance was such a huge success that the dance team raised money over their goal, yet again.
