APRIL 5, 2016: During September of 2015, Friendship News Network, Tech Prep Bureau went to the Newseum. This trip was so we could learn about history. It was fun and interesting and it was important to me because I wanted to learn about 9/11.
The Newseum is open every day of the week from 9:00am to 5:00pm. It has been open in DC since 2008. It was founded on April 18, 1997. This is fun for you and your family.
It has events that happened in the world such as 9/11, the Vietnam War, and the Civil War. To me it is one of the best experiences I ever had. People say The Newseum has a good way to get money because they charge $22.95 plus tax for adults. But it’s free for kids who go to schools in Washington, DC. After you buy a ticket, you can come back for two days. Most of the money goes to their technology.
Terrell Artis, Sean Beach, and Dionel Grice are 7th grade scholars at Friendship Tech Prep Middle School.
