The D.C. District Wide STEM Fair was held at Dunbar High School, and two of our very own Titans, including myself, got the honor of representing Friendship Tech Prep with our innovative projects.

Aniya Doleman represented in the Junior Division with her “Automatic Paper Formatting Code”, and I, Jerell King made waves in the Senior Division with my “Insta-Laptop”, the device that transforms your smartphone into a functional laptop. We both had some pretty tough competition, but we were able to take home some major awards.

Aniya won the grand prize in her category, and also earned a lot of special awards. I also came in third in the grand awards, which came with a lot of special awards as well.

Aniya and I really enjoyed the thrill of the STEM Fair and we both took pride in representing the Titan name and having fun along the way.
