FEB. 27, 2020: It’s finally everybody's favorite season. No, I’m not talking about Christmas or summer. It’s Girl Scout Cookie Season!

Even though this time of year is yummy, it’s also controversial. Everyone has their favorite kind of Girl Scout Cookie, but which cookie is actually the best?

To answer that question I asked Woodridge students and teachers what their favorite Girl Scout Cookie is and why.

6th grader Jaslene Barnes said her favorite Girl Scout Cookie is the very popular Thin Mint. “They’re so minty and chocolaty. They also seem like they’d be dry but they’re so moist. As a sugar lover, this cookie is perfect!”

Woodridge Librarian Ms. Whitfield loves Samoas. “They’re chewy, caramel-y and chocolate-y. What is there not to love?”

4th grader Autumn Leach says her favorite is Toffee-tastic. “I love the toffee taste. There is no other cookie like it.”

According to 5th grade ELA teacher Ms. Grooms, Trefoils are the best. “They are sweet, but not too sweet. They’re also soft and buttery.”

Arman Butler in the 3rd grade also loves Trefoils.”They’re the only vanilla-flavored cookie, and I only really like that flavor. The others are too much.”

Spanish teacher Ms. Hollis loves the new Lemon-Ups. “I love anything that is lemon-flavored. I also love the inspiring messages on them.”

I think there’s no way to decide which Girl Scout Cookie is best. What makes Girl Scout Cookies so amazing is that there are so many options to choose from, and everyone can find the cookie they like most.
