The Virtual World Of Awesome Con

On Saturday June 4, 2022, a group of FNN students went to Awesome Con at Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Everything from the cosplayers, the art, even the food was amazing—but not as amazing as the VR system in the video game room. This game system allowed you to train and essentially face off with people in another world. I admit when I first put the headset on I was a bit scared but as soon as I got used to it I was ready to battle. I picked my character and faced off with Ms. Merritt herself in a relentless battle. The battle was tough but I ended up on top. All in all the VR experience was epic and I would most definitely try it again next year.
