Top Crazy Stories About the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich

DEC. 2, 2019: I know everyone is tired of hearing the talk about who’s sandwich is better—Popeyes or Chick-Fil-A. Well, that controversial debate may not be over because wild and crazy stories are still coming out about the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich. I’ve done my research to find the top stories about these deliciously made sandwiches and I tell you, they’ll blow your mind.

The Popeyes Stabbing

My first story is incredibly surprising, yet very sad and disappointing. A man was stabbed in Maryland during a fight over the chicken sandwich. CBS Baltimore reported that the stabbing happened somewhere in line at one of the Prince George's County locations. Police say the fight involved two men who were in line for the release of the chicken sandwich. It seems like one man cut the other man off in line. Unfortunately, this lead to one death.

Popeyes Worker Brings Child To Work

A Texas man is now looking for a new job because he decided to bring his son to help with the chicken sandwiches. According to Inside Edition, a child was recorded preparing the popular Popeyes chicken sandwich. The boy, who was wearing an apron and sneakers, is said to have been about eight years old and four feet tall. When Popeyes saw there was a child in the kitchen they fired his dad later that week.
