Tribute to a Fallen Knight

October 13, 2021. As a tribute to the late Jaquar McNair, the students and staff held a “balloon pop” outside of the school. For those unfamiliar with the term ”balloon pop”, since we weren’t allowed to release the balloons, we had to pop them. When you pop the balloons, you release the “negativity” from them. It has been about two years since Jaquar’s death, and the pain of the loss has had a lasting effect on the ones close to him.
