Trumps Disobeys Obama-Era Protection Of Transgenders

OCT. 27, 2017: I am honestly tired of Trump’s low-down dirty comments and opinions. Trump is ordering public schools to disregard Obama-era protections for transgender students in public schools that let them use bathrooms and facilities corresponding with their gender identity. Now I'm not a transgender, but this is very disrespectful to the people who are. There are 14,550 transgender all over the world and 2.77 percent are in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

This affects a lot of people especially transgenders out here who are young and already getting bullied. Why put the idea into their head that they can’t go to a bathroom they prefer. I just feel as though Trump needs to be put in the shoes of a transgender and really listen to what he’s saying towards the transgender because this is some “bs” straight up!  

We are all equal and should all be seen as the same. But we have people like Trump who say ignorant things that make people feel as though they don’t belong or as though they aren't all equal. And that’s just not fair. I support the LGBT community because there is nothing wrong with being different.
