All About STAR

OCT. 26, 2017: Star is a show on Fox 5 that’s entering it’s second season which premiered September 27, 2017 at 9/8c.  

This show revolves around the main character’s life. All of her childhood, she was in and out of different foster care homes but it didn’t change her dream about what she wanted to do with her life. Star wanted to become a singer. It made her fight harder for what she wanted in life.

Focused on following the way to popularity in the crazy music industry, she travels to find her younger sister, Simone and meets up with her best friend from Instagram, Alexandra.

Star (Jude Demorest) and Simone (Brittany O’Grady) are sisters on this show and Alexandra (Ryan Destiny) is Star’s best friend. Once Jude, Brittany and Ryan get to Atlanta, they find out that their mother-figure lives there and begin living with her to help her run her hair salon while she supports their dreams. Benjamin becomes their manager because he sees something special in Star and later finds out that she was the daughter of someone he was in love with. As the trio continued to chase after their dreams, they encounter hard decisions that they must make in order to become successful.

This show is really amusing and entertaining. All of the music on “Star” is great. The actresses are very pretty and the backstory of this show is very heartwarming.

I would most definitely recommend this show to a lot of people! In my opinion, this is waaaaayyyyyy better than EMPIRE (also a show written by Lee Daniels).
