Undefeated Tigers Win Championship

I’m at the most important game of the year, the Friendship Elementary Basketball Championship game. The game took place at Friendship Woodridge’s campus.

Coach Cherry was yelling with excitement as his team scored a three pointer. Time flew by, and it was already half time. The Tigers were ahead, 13 to 3. After half time, they did not start the game clock. However, Principal Dow caught it, and the clock was fixed. 

As the final whistle blew to end the game, we, the Tigers, won! The team celebrated their win with some pizza brought in by the Tiger’s team mom. This was one of the most important games in Friendship Southeast history. Congratulations to these amazing athletes!

Dhenim Washington is a 4th grade scholar, and Saige Cathy is a 6th grade scholar at Friendship Southeast Academy.
