MARCH 16, 2017: On January 4, 2017, Vegas police found a body of a 49-year-old homeless man dead in an empty lot. According to authorities, the man died of head trauma while he was sleeping. Police suspected he had been hit over the head with a hammer. One month later, another homeless man was found dead in the same empty lot. He was also struck in the head with a hammer. The police had no lead on the killer, so they decided to bait him.
Vegas police set up a mannequin near the same empty lot wrapped in blankets and positioned it so that it looked like a person who was sleeping. Within a few hours, a person wearing a hoodie approached the mannequin, pulled out a hammer and proceeded to smash the mannequin several times in the head. This incident was captured on surveillance footage. Police soon arrested Shane Schindler and charged him with one count of carrying a concealed weapon. What's your opinion on this situation?
