Why Is Gun Violence Such a Bad Thing?

Guns are dangerous because kids and other people are losing their lives due to gun violence in the community. In the U.S., guns have caused about 30,885 deaths and 58,630 injuries over the past year, with 250,000 civilian injuries were caused by law enforcement officers.

Whether you're outside in the streets or inside your home, you can somehow end up in a situation where you face gun violence. People who carry around guns can cause problems. They could start shooting people they don't like. Or if someone is there that's not supposed to be, they will get in the crossfire.

Demand a federal ban on firearms.
