Why Trump Should Not Be President

DEC 15, 2016: Donald Trump has been elected our new president, and a lot of people are enraged. I can understand their frustration because a bigot has just became our leader. I strongly believe that Trump should not be president. And here are my reasons: he legitimizes racism, he is a terrible public figure, and he is just full of hate.

Trump has made derogatory remarks towards black people, Muslims, Mexicans, women and gay people. His sexist remarks are not a good influence on the children of America. “You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media writes as long as you’ve got a young, and beautiful, piece of a**.” Once again Trump proves that he values looks over everything else.

Let’s not forget he’s a racist and a bigot. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with them. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bring crime. They’re rapists… And some, I assume, are good people.” He just casually puts out racial slurs. “I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist.” Has anyone notice that Trump hates and loves something at the same time?

He is not a great political figure for this country. I think he is actually toxic. His presidential status should be revoked. He is poisoning the minds of our children. He is just full of hate, and I think if you value your country you wouldn’t have voted for him.
