Tech Prep Travels South to Celebrate Freedom Summer

On Saturday, June 14, 2014  Tech Prep high school students traveled south to learn about, report on and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Freedom Summer—one of the most important times in entire history of the civil rights movement. To find out where they went and what they learned on their seven day trip, read their journals here. They took film for a movie about their experiences which will be ready late this year.
