Ed Lazere

I’m endorsing Ed Lazere for DC Council-member at Large because we need to see real change in our community.  He believes that if Trump continues to do what he has been doing, then we will be headed into ruin. He wants to change the racial and economic inequality that we face worldwide.

Lazere wants early child care to be an option for everyone regardless of skin color, race, ethnicity or social/financial status and will fight for affordable early childhood education and economic justice.

He supports providing money to low-income families who depend on the metro and believes that over time this benefit could extend to other DC residents.

Because the lack of affordable housing for DC residents is in emergency status, Lazere promises to double funds to support low-income families and residents so they can keep their homes.

Many DC residents do not feel as though they can trust the police due to discrimination against race, sexual identity, and immigration status. Lazere wants to provide the police with more training to teach them how to handle all types of situations.
