Nutrition Behind Sweet Frog

FNN Tech Prep Bureau: July 11, 2014. FNN scholars from Friendship Southeast Academy and Friendship Tech Prep went to Sweet Frog, the frozen yogurt place. Sweet Frog was really fun and tasty, but I didn’t pick any nutritional toppings. I had chocolate and cotton candy frozen yogurt mixed. It was delicious. Our teacher Ms. Montalvo mixed two flavors like I did—cookies n' cream with cake batter. Cookies n’ cream is made with 18g of sugar, non fat dry milk and 90 mg of sodium. She then topped it with Captain Crunch, Butterfinger, sprinkles, and bananas.
In my opinion the toppings were really interesting! And did have a few healthy toppings like bananas, strawberries, walnuts, pineapples, almonds and coconut.
In conclusion you have a choice. You can get a healthy and nutritious snack or a unhealthy snack. I think Sweet Frog is not a healthy place because there were not that many healthy toppings.
