Awesome Con Stores: Full Of Fun Surprises and Collectibles

On Saturday June 4th, 2022, the FNN Collegiate Bureau went to Awesome Con at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. This was truly a fun and nostalgic event, but what stood out the most were the shops around the convention. These shops were full of beautiful, colorful, and detailed merchandise, from trading cards to replica swords to posters…from animes like Demon Slayer and Bleach, and also video games like The Legend of Zelda. 

These shops were filled with figurines, and one had an anime-themed car in the middle of the con. There were playable video games and card games on the level above the con as well as a station with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that included actual wheels, paddles, gas and brake pedals. There were very detailed, vibrant and diverse posters being sold, with amazing non-bendable designs.

While at the con, I bought a poster, a Vegeta action figure, an Akatsuki cloak (from the anime Naruto) and a phone case. This is my second year attending Awesome Con, and I will definitely come back next year.
