Choose a Side: E-Girls vs VSCO Girls

DEC. 10, 2019: You may not know what an E-Girl is, so I am going to tell you. An E-Girl is a girl that usually wears dark-colored clothing and makeup. The “E” in E-Girl stands for “emo” or “emotional”. When people talk about an emo person, it is usually not a good thing, but I think that people who say they are emo are in touch with how they feel, which is a good thing. Even though we wear uniforms at school, I can express myself with my hair and personality. The pictures below show what a typical E-Girl looks like and wears. The last pictures show me dressed in my E-Girl clothes. Even though E-Girls are looked at negatively, I am a really nice person and I care about other people.

VSCO Girls  Many people say that E-Girls and VSCO Girls are very different. Unlike an E-Girl, a VSCO Girl is what people used to call a Valley Girl, a person who is into wearing bright colors, scrunchies, and shell necklaces. They also like animals like turtles and are interested in helping the environment. Just like Deonna, I care about other people and like to make them happy. I do that by talking and laughing with them. I love animals and I want to have a lot of pets when I grow up. Here are some pictures of what a typical VSCO Girl looks like including one of me in my normal VSCO Girl clothes.                

VSCO Girl Must Haves          

E-Girls and VSCO Girls can both be good people. We think it is important to be nice to people, and not important what kind of clothes you wear. Both of us wear different kinds of clothes but are still best friends.
