When choosing where to live, people look for different things such as good living space, good to great jobs in their career field, and great schools for their children. Washington, DC has it all. In the year 2015, DC was ranked as the 6th best place to live.
Some people absolutely love DC because of the atmosphere. Some people are able to host block parties. They can go to coffee shops and converse with friends, or even just spend the day with their dogs at dog parks. People also love the average annual salary which is $65,910.
Here are some other reasons that are highlighted in the ranking. The Metro Transit System is the number one transit system in the country. People love the supply of restaurants and the great quality of food they are served. And the surrounding communities are really nice and clean. People also love the cultural spots that they see around the city. For African-Americans, we have the National Museum of African-American History and culture. Finally, the entertainment is a great thing in DC, like live music and GO-GO.
This is why DC was ranked as the 4th best place to live in the country. Do you think DC should be the 4th best place to live in the country? Write your opinion in the comment box below.
