Electing Trump? Bad Idea

Donald Trump should have never reared his head for the election in 2016. That year was the starting point for a horrible world in the making. And now that he’s won the 2024 election, I’m skeptical about how our country is going to handle the next four years. The 2024 election has been a wild series of events, from the attempted assassination of Trump, to Kamala Harris entering the race for Joe Biden, to Trump actually winning. I just hope things don’t get too crazy. With Harris’ seemingly successful campaign, people were hopeful that she could win this election and save us from that crazy man, Trump. But, sadly, that was not the case.
Trump shouldn’t have won the election because of the wicked plans he has for our country, like Project 2025, “a historic movement, brought together by over 100 respected organizations from across the conservative movement, to take down the Deep State and return the government to the people.” This is already a big concern for non-Trump supporters, but that's just the start. His plans to ban abortions and get rid of immigrants and LGBTQIA+ people are just some of the many things he has mapped out to put in effect for us as citizens.
Personally, I'm really glad Harris took over for President Biden. After the first debate, I wasn’t sure if I had much confidence in him. Unfortunately, it was all for nothing. This has been a wild ride for most of the country and I’m sad that it ended with the outcome it did. Kamala, you tried your best and I’m sorry you didn’t win. But now it’s time to get with the program.
