Why Don’t Women Get Abortion Rights?

In June of 2022, in a devastating decision that will reverberate for generations to come, the U.S Supreme Court abandoned its duty to protect fundamental rights and overturned Roe v. Wade, ruling there is no federal constitutional right to abortion.
Abortion bans have already taken effect in some states, like North Dakota, Indiana, and Idaho. In others, the Supreme Court’s outrageous decision is fueling efforts by narrow minded politicians to ban abortions. Abortion bans can trap women into inhumane situations, forcing them to remain pregnant or, if they have the resources, travel hundreds or thousands of miles for a legal abortion.
However, many women are pursuing unsafe abortions or experiencing fatal pregnancy-related problems, which has increased the maternal mortality rate. Women are outraged and ready to fight like hell.
Men’s rights are seen as human rights, and women’s rights should be the same. If abortion rights are not restored at the federal level, women will continue to pursue unsafe abortions or experience fatal pregnancies.
