I Partied With Anime Yokocho at Awesome Con

On March 9th Friendship News Network attended Awesome Con and I got to experience Anime Yokocho.

Anime Yokocho is a part of Awesome Con, a convention held in Washington, DC for people who love anime, video games, superheroes, cosplay and other events. Anime Yokocho is an event inside Awesome Con that's all about anime. They have a dance battle station and places where you can buy posters, props, and stickers. When you are at Anime Yokocho, you meet a lot of fun people dressed up as anime characters, and you can make new friends.

My experience at Anime Yokocho was fun. I got to see many stores and meet other people who share my interests. There was a dance off, they played the opening for Swords Art Online and My Hero Academia, and there were also posters and fake guns. I would love to go back next year and see more of what I possibly missed. 

If you like anime, you’ll enjoy Anime Yokocho. It is a good experience and you will have a lot of fun dancing, singing along to songs, and shopping.
