Why I'm Considering Applying to George Washington University

As I prepare to apply to college, I’m looking for a school that can help me become a nurse, and one that stands out is George Washington University. The nursing program at George Washington University trains you to become a nurse who gets to work at their hospital. Personally, it also helps that it’s close to home, which means I could save money by not living on campus, and instead commute. This would also allow me to spend a lot more time with my family.
George Washington University seems like a great school to attend, and after you get your degree and become a registered nurse, you can work at their hospital. Some people decide to attend for their nursing degree, and some people decide to attend there for the nurse-midwifery program. This means GWU actually prepares you to get your midwifery degree in 5 years.
The student population at GWU is pretty big. Around 25,613 students attend the school and students can be involved in more than 500 student organizations and social clubs.
I rate George Washington University a 10/10, because it's a good school if you want to stay close to home versus moving away or living on campus. I like that you get to be hands-on with your experience at GWU and get a guaranteed job in the medical field, if that’s what you decide to study. I’ll definitely be applying!
