New SGA Council Members Takeover

September 24, 2021. FCA held elections for new student council members. The elections were held in the cafeteria during the lunch periods for STEM and Fine Arts academies. The results are as follows:

Congratulations to all our new SGA council members. Our new mayor is Jordan Johnson. Our new chairperson is Jade Mosby. Our new SGA council members are Madison Byrd, Royalty Venable, and Imani Watson. Our new senior ward representatives are Abdul Rasheed Flythe and Jamison Simpkins. Our freshman ward representatives are Paige Douglas and Nakaia Wells. Our new senior class president is Amija Coleman and our vice president is Dionne Long.

According to the senior class president, Amija Coleman, her current plans are to preserve and/or revamp the culture of FCA, support the students while they are transitioning from online to in-person learning and to make sure students feel safe in and out of school.
