Pre-K is Baking Up Some Goodies
Story by Storm Blake. Photo by Janiya Riveria
The entire Pre-K classes at Woodridge baked up goodies and sweets for the holiday season. Posters were displayed all over the school to announce delicious treats made by three and four year olds along with their parents. Home-baked goods will always sell best and taste best. Goodies such as brownies, cupcakes, cookies, pies, and cakes were sold to support the Early Childhood.
The Pre-K team consist of teachers: Ms. Fields, Ms. Henry, Ms. Johnson, Ms. Crump, Graham, Bivins, Glover, and Carey all wanted to reach out for support from parents and students to do something sweet this season.
The entire team has worked hard to make many of the deserts themselves with their own special ingredients. The bake sale was such a huge success, that it continued for a second day due to the overwhelming turnout. This was a delicious treat for everyone who participated. In the end, the bake sale was entirely doable and fun!
