Pre-K Valentine’s Day Celebration: “Love to Dance”
FEB. 16, 2017: On Tuesday, February 14th, 2017, in honor of Valentine’s Day, the Pre-K Team put on a spectacular Valentine’s Dance entitled “Love to Dance.” The dance was held in the gym for elementary students in grades kindergarten thru 4th grades. Everyone was asked to wear some form of red, pink, purple or white. The gym was decorated with hearts and balloons. The DJ had the crowd jumping and dancing to the latest songs from Grammy Winner “Chance the Rapper,” Kodak Black, and Fetty Wap. There were many teachers chaperoning the dance with smiles on their faces. Many teachers could not stop laughing at all of the latest dance moves coming from the little ones. “Where did they learn how to dance like this?” Ms. Wood, Head of Security, questioned ecstatically. Afterward, the elementary classrooms exchanged Valentine cards, cupcakes, and indulged in a little bit of chocolate. All in all the dance was phenomenal! A very sweet day filled with love!
