Sigma Beta Halloween Trick or Treat Community Service!!

News brief by Braylon Wims. Photo by Brother President Kamara

October 31, 2021. The Alpha Sigma Chapter of Sigma Beta held a community service opportunity at their newly renovated chapter house on Division Avenue. This community service event was hosted with the brothers of Phi Beta Sigma and some members from the Arcannettes.

There were some younger betas there with us helping to pack bags of candy. We gave them out to the neighborhood churches, people around the neighborhood, and to whatever kids walked past the house or came to the house. We also had fun. Most of the kids were dressed up in costumes to show their Halloween spirit. We had kids dressed up like Goku, Kilo Ren, a teacher, and other show characters.

It was a fun experience for everyone and the people's vibes were just great. We were laughing, cracking jokes, eating pizza and taking pictures. I can’t wait for the other events at the chapter house when it’s completely finished. When that happens, another report will be coming.
