Smile 2: Inexplicable Events Make for Maximum Fright

I went to the movies to go see Smile 2 in late October to celebrate my sister's birthday. Smile 2 came out on October 18th, 2024, and stars Naomi Scott, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Rosemarie Dewitt, Dylan Gelula, and Raul Castillo.
The movie centers around a pop star named Skye Riley, who fears that she is going crazy, because she keeps seeing people smiling who nobody else can see. As she attempts to figure out what is happening to her, the people she cares about slowly begin to die, and her life becomes even more endangered.
I have to say, this movie was really scary. There was lots of gore, many jump scares, and of course, the haunting smiles. While I was watching it I had favorites characters throughout, like Joshua, Morris, Elizabeth, and of course Skye Riley. They were my favorite characters because they really stood out to me, especially Joshua. I liked his facial expressions and his sassiness.
It was a perfect horror movie for Halloween, but one that is not suitable for children. I would give it 10/10. You can watch it on Paramount+.
