FEB. 2, 2020: Groundhog Day is a popular tradition celebrated every year on February 2nd. On this day, people wait around for a groundhog to come out of its burrow to predict how long before there will be spring-like weather.

If the groundhog sees its shadow then, winter will last for 6 more weeks. However, if the groundhog doesn't see its shadow, spring will arrive early.

After a light snow in Pennsylvania on groundhog’s day this year, the Keystone State's most popular groundhog did not see its shadow. Therefore, we could expect spring to be here soon!
