TikTok VS Musical.ly

FEB. 3, 2020: Which is better, TikTok or Musical.ly? As a young child, I have used both. Musical.ly was the original app everyone had, and the more likes you got for your videos the cooler you were. There were lots of popular musers on the app, like Jacob Sartorius, Loren Beech and Liza Koshy.
However the app then started to die down, and big stars stopped using it. Some even went on Instagram live to see if their fans still wanted them to use it. This is how it began to get boring and unpopular.
This led to Muiscal.ly becoming TikTok, an app that works almost the same way Musical.ly did. Now that TikTok has become popular, I find the app to be a bit creepier. Musical.ly was great because you had crowns that people worked hard to get by creating cool videos. Also, on Musical.ly, you had to request if you could have a duet with someone, and work with them on a video. Because of this there were no adults on Musical.ly. It was used only by and for kids.
On TikTok, nobody has to ask permission to duet or create videos with anyone. You now see a lot of older men making videos with young girls. I am hearing more and more about creeps finding young kids on TikTok. It’s now becoming super inappropriate because adults are working with children.
I don’t use the app anymore because I don’t feel comfortable on it, and I wish TikTok would take action. Musical.ly was just overall safer and more fun.
