Where Do We Go From Here?

NOV. 14, 2016: On November 8-9, 2016, people in the United States were shocked when Donald Trump became the 45th president of the United States. Now, there are a lot of “mixed” emotions going through the US. Some people are glad and some people are sad. But, I have one big question, Where do we go from here?

People are saying that they will be moving to Canada. But is it really that serious? People are also telling me that you are just a child and you are going to be alright. But, I do not believe this because students may be more affected than some of the adults. Our education system may be changed since Donald Trump was elected as president. So what should we do? People in different states and cities are protesting against our president-elect. I have been saying, “Maybe he will surprise us, but I have been doubting that he will.”

Is Donald Trump the right person to be the president of the United States? To me no, because he has no political experience at all. He is too conceited to be the president. He dislikes Mexicans and for that matter, he wants to build a wall along the border of Mexico and the United States. People believe that he just cares about himself, so why would they vote for someone who doesn’t care about anyone besides himself. He mocks people with disabilities such as people who have to use wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. Why would people vote for someone who mocks people with disabilities? These people have come a long way and are still here today. He treats women very unfairly, by telling them some of the most hurtful things like “You have to be hot in order to be a journalist. Also he told the public, “If his daughter wasn’t his daughter he would totally go out with her”.

I don’t believe that Trump is the right fit to be the president of the United States. What do you think? Do you believe that Trump would be the right person to run this country? Write your opinion in the comment section below.
