Why Stanford University?

JUNE 3, 2016: Stanford University was originally called Leland Stanford Junior University, but the name got shortened. It’s a private research university in Palo Alto, California. Stanford is known as one of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the world. Stanford was founded in 1885 and Stanford is a private research school for law, engineering, business and medicine. I really want to attend Stanford because I really like the school, and because it’s in California.  Also, they have lots of events, and different activities for young adults who might want to attend Stanford...like me.
