Vincent Orange

I’m endorsing Vincent Bernard Orange Sr, At Large Candidate for DC Council. I know that our nation is going through a hard time during this pandemic, and Orange wants to work to provide solace for DC citizens. He’s got the experience as Ward 5 Councilmember from 1999-2007.

During his time as a Councilmember, he offered a balanced and reasonable approach to governing by contributing to economic development throughout DC. Now, he wants to return to the Council because he wants to provide what’s needed to meet the demands of all DC citizens. Orange wants to ensure that the DC workforce gets back to work safely and wants to ensure that DC’s universal paid leave system treats all DC residents equally. And he wants to give the students of DC appropriate technology, vocational educational opportunities and free tuition so that all DC residents who want to, can attend the University of the District of Columbia. In order to protect the DC homeless community he’ll give them personal protection equipment and hygiene products to help keep them safe.

And if elected, Orange will call for the creation of a board that will review allegations of abuse by MPD and implement more community policing efforts.

You can put your trust in Vincent Orange as your councilman by voting for him I am Vincent Orange and I approve this message!
