MAR. 13, 2020: On February 7, 2020, the Friendship Tech Prep Varsity Blue Belles traveled to Highland Springs, Virginia to compete in the DMV Stomp & Shake. There were teams throughout the DMV area from elementary to high school. The younger competitors did a great job and won a trophy in numerous categories. Even though the Blue Belles did not compete in the stunt and tumbling division, they still showed the audience and judges what they have been working on.

The Blue Belles prepared for this long day by having long practice days and a lot of arguments. But they still worked as a team to get the job done. They won first place in the dance break division. Their coach, Ms. Lynch was very proud of them because they worked hard for this first place trophy. And even though they didn’t win first and second place in the solos, they still were one of the top ten teams to receive trophies.

To prepare themselves to win first place for the overall competitions in the future, the Blue Belles are going to continue to work on stunts and tumbling. They are also going to work hard to improve their techniques such as being tight and looking like one person instead of multiple people.
