Friendship Southeast Scholars Want Tasty School Lunches

Story by Malachi Gray. Photo by Deandre McMillian.

During lunch at Friendship Southeast, kids are given lunch that the majority of us scholars agree doesn’t taste that good.

For example, the smiley face fries are dry and the milk sometimes tastes expired. The pizza is not good because the cheese and the sauce are not like normal pizza. However, I do believe the hotdogs are okay.

School lunch could be better if someone asked the students what they actually want to eat. We should be able to give our opinions on the meals they provide for us.
