Hello Readers!

AUG. 13, 2020: Another week of an amazing race is upon us. I’m so excited to take off and update you all on more incredible adventures. Today, I took a walk across Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge in China. This bridge is one of the tallest and longest bridges in the world. Just to let you in on a little secret, I am afraid of heights so this walk was me being “Marquise the Brave”.

As I walked down the steps to get to the bridge, I tried to count to make sure there were not more than eight thousand people before or behind me. I counted about thirty-five people before I took my first step onto the glass bridge. The end of the bridge seemed so far away, so I tried to enjoy the view and learn about the history to think about something else, but it wasn’t easy. However, I did learn that this was the longest bridge in the world until 2018.

I enjoyed walking across this mirror style bridge and think the best part about this adventure was getting to the other side! If you want to take a risk or feel adventurous, the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge in China will be a great place for you to visit.
