“Omg Did You See That Choker”!

June 6, 2017. Have you ever seen someone with a choker around their neck to brighten their style? Chokers are fashionable and very much in style especially in the D.M.V. (DC, Maryland, and Virginia) area. There are so many people in the United States who wear chokers today. Children ages 10 and up wear them as a personality statement. Chokers are worn by different kinds of people in our nationalities (Caucasian, African Americans, Indians, Ethiopians, and Jamaicans). Some men wear them to help identify their personal style. Some information I learned from researching was that chokers were worn in the first century. Something that caught my attention was that chokers can be made plain, colorful, long, short or in any style that fits. Chokers can be made from metal, fabric or woven. Chokers have been worn around children’s necks for thousands of years. Chokers can have real gold or silver on them. Chokers can be from the hippies or plastic tattoo chokers of the 1990s.
